Blank sailing means no sailing or cancelled sailing. It happens when an ocean vessel does not call at one or more of its scheduled intermediate stops. A blank sailing can refer to a sailing skipping one specific port (while still traversing the rest of the scheduled route) or to the entire voyage being cancelled -—
